iFilm: Iran doc ‘Ranger and Leopard’ wins in Italy
Iran documentary film ‘Ranger and Leopard’ has won award at 2018 Gran Paradiso Film Festival in Italy.
Co-directed by Fathollah Amiri and Nima Asgari, the film took home Gran Paradiso National Park Award which is 1500 Euros.
The film shows a park ranger who is devoted to his job and the environment. His name is Mohammad-Reza Halvani. Although, there is no documented record of leopards ling in his region, he receives some suspicious reports of presence of leopards.
The documented flick has so far grabbed several awards from international events including Green Image Film Festival in Japan.
Fathollah Amiri has made some other successful documentary movies too including ‘In Pursuit of Iranian Leopard’ and ‘Living in Solar Eclipse’.
Gran Paradiso Film Festival in Italy held its 21st edition aiming to promote the extraordinary nature of the world.
