Hamed Saadat
Hamed Saadat (born 1983, Kerman) is an Iranian documentary filmmaker and cinematographer. He has won several awards, including the second-best documentary at the 12 Months Film Festival in Romania in 2018, Best Short Film at the WRPN TV Film Festival in New York in 2018, and the Golden Statue for Best International Documentary at the Roshd Film Festival in Tehran in 2016 for his film “The Man Who Became a Fossil.”
He is also among the signatories of a letter addressed to the then Minister of Culture, advocating for the lifting of the ban on the documentary film “Like a Woman.”
