A gripping quest to find Iran’s rare Spider-Tailed Horned Viper, a predator with a spider-mimicking tail, unfolds into a tale of conservation and redemption.

In the Realm of the Spider-Tailed Viper follows the gripping adventure of wildlife filmmaker Fathollah Amiri and biologist Dr. Behzad Fathinia as they delve into the wilderness of western Iran in search of the Spider-Tailed Horned Viper. This one-of-a-kind snake, boasting a tail that mimics a spider’s movements, uses its extraordinary appendage to lure and hunt insect-eating birds with unparalleled skill. Known as the most evolved viper on Earth, it is a marvel of nature and one of Iran’s rarest treasures.

But this film is more than a search for a rare creature; it’s a tale of transformation. Along the way, the team meets Mahmoud, a local farmer who once hunted the viper yet undergoes a remarkable change. Through his connection with the film team, Mahmoud transforms from predator to protector, resisting lucrative offers from collectors and choosing instead to preserve this incredible species.

Against breathtaking aerial shots of the viper’s gypsum cliff habitat and the intense emotions of discovery, In the Realm of the Spider-Tailed Viper reveals the power of conservation, resilience, and local dedication. This documentary serves as both a call to protect Iran’s wildlife and a celebration of one man’s journey to redemption.

Brace yourself for a story of courage, mystery, and survival, where the stakes are high, and the outcome is anything but certain.

A six-year quest across Iran’s wilderness to document the last Asiatic Cheetahs. Tanhavash showcases the struggle to save this endangered species, revealing stunning landscapes and the urgent fight for Iran’s natural heritage.

Tanhavash is a powerful documentary that follows a remarkable mission to find and document one of Iran’s rarest treasures: the Asiatic Cheetah, known as the “Iranian Cheetah.” With fewer than 100 believed to survive, this unique subspecies now exists only in Iran, making the country its final refuge and last hope. Unlike its African cousin roaming open savannas, the Asiatic Cheetah has vanished from almost every other habitat, leaving its survival at risk.

The journey began in 2009 when the Conservation of the Asiatic Cheetah Project (CACP), Iranian Cheetah Society (ICS), and Plan for Land Society launched an ambitious search in Kavir National Park. Despite setting up dozens of trail cameras, only one male cheetah was recorded, a heartbreaking sign of the species’ decline.

Driven by passion and determination, wildlife filmmaker Fathollah Amiri embarked on a six-year journey across Kavir’s vast wilderness, enduring extreme heat, rugged terrain, and long stretches of solitude. Tanhavash captures this pursuit, blending Iran’s stunning landscapes with the urgent fight to save its most endangered predator.

With breathtaking visuals and a moving narrative, Tanhavash inspires viewers to protect these magnificent creatures before they disappear forever.

A gripping documentary exposing the plight of the Houbara Bustard, a vulnerable bird trafficked from Iran to Persian Gulf nations. Over 9 years, the film unveils the black market trade threatening its survival.

Houbara follows a decade-long journey to uncover the plight of the Houbara Bustard, a rare desert bird hunted and trafficked from Iran to the Persian Gulf for falconry. Esteemed for its cultural significance, this bird faces near extinction due to relentless poaching, smuggling, and habitat destruction.

The film explores Iran’s Houbara habitats and traces the bird’s journey to a Persian Gulf country’s black market, revealing the shocking scale of this illegal trade. With intimate footage and candid interviews, it highlights the economic struggles of local communities contributing to the bird’s exploitation while showcasing the tireless efforts of rangers and conservationists to save it.

Through its unflinching narrative, Houbara paints a powerful picture of the challenges of preserving this species while questioning the human impact on fragile ecosystems. This eye-opening documentary calls for action to protect not just the Houbara Bustard but also the delicate balance of nature it represents.

Berkay, a 10-year-old boy, faces an inner struggle during his summer in the village when he learns Muhammad is the most beautiful name, challenging his attachment to worldly pleasures.

Berkay, a 10-year-old boy from a middle-class urban family, is sent to his ancestral village for the summer holidays while his parents remain in the city. Used to the comforts of urban life, Berkay begins to explore the slower, more traditional pace of village living. To fill his time, he is enrolled in a Qur’an course, where he is exposed to teachings and ideas that are unfamiliar to him.

One day during the course, the hodja answers a question, explaining that the most beautiful name is Muhammad. For Berkay, who has grown up indulging in life’s material pleasures and believing he deserves the best of everything, this revelation shakes his understanding of beauty, value, and status. The clash between the spiritual wisdom presented to him and his attachment to worldly desires becomes a source of inner conflict.

As the summer progresses, Berkay begins grappling with these opposing forces—his longing for material satisfaction and the spiritual truths he encounters at the Qur’an course. This journey forces him to confront his deeply ingrained beliefs about what truly holds value in life, leading him to question his priorities and seek a resolution to his growing inner turmoil.
