Director's Statement:

When I first came across Abolfazl Joghatai’s Instagram profile and discovered his plan to venture into Golestan National Park, I saw an opportunity to capture a unique narrative that goes beyond personal exploration. I reached out to him with the idea of creating a documentary that would not only follow his journey but also delve into the deeper connections between humans and the natural world. This collaboration allowed us to witness his genuine reactions to encountering wildlife for the first time, offering moments that were both compelling and enlightening.

Our aim with this film is to shed light on the critical importance of environmental conservation and to motivate viewers to look beyond their immediate surroundings and recognize the value of preserving our planet’s biodiversity. Through Abolfazl’s journey, we hope to inspire the younger generation to become more conscious stewards of the Earth, fostering a sense of responsibility and commitment to nature that transcends borders and cultures.

By documenting Abolfazl’s passion and curiosity, we also hope to empower him and others like him to continue on their path of advocating for the environment. We believe this film is a small yet significant step towards building a more sustainable and aware future for all.
