The documentary “Ranger and Leopard,” directed by Fathollah Amiri and Nima Asgari, continued its international success by entering the competition section of the Wildlife Film Festival in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Nima Asgari, one of the co-directors, attended the festival, participated in a Q&A session, and answered audience questions after the screening.

“Ranger and Leopard” tells the story of Mohammad Reza Halvani, a ranger passionate about nature, who becomes intrigued by reports of a leopard’s presence in his protected area, despite no evidence being recorded before.

Previously, the film has received numerous awards and recognitions, including the Best Film in the “People and Nature” category at the prestigious Jackson Hole Film Festival, the top prize at the Gran Paradiso Film Festival in Italy, and the Best Independent Film award at the Green Screen Festival in Germany, among others.
