Kavukî Bokan Selected for Amsterdam Kurdish Film Festival 2025

We are proud to announce that the documentary film Kavukî Bokan, directed by Nima Asgari and produced by Fathollah Amiri, has been officially selected for the Amsterdam Kurdish Film Festival (AKFF), taking place from 9 to 11 May 2025 in the Netherlands.

Kavukî Bokan is a moving portrayal of the endangered çirgan (Great Bustard) in Kurdistan and the urgent efforts to protect its rapidly disappearing population. Filmed over five years, the documentary captures rare and powerful moments in the natural world and highlights the deep connection between people and their environment.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the director and producer for this achievement. Souzian is honored to represent this important work internationally and looks forward to its screening at AKFF.
